Bodegas puiggros,
Spain, Catalonia, Pla de Bages, Sierra de Rubió

In his great-grandparent´s and grandparent´s estates, Josep and Vincens Puiggros found some abandoned vines dating back to 1900. Thanks to these vineyards, BODEGAS PUIGGRÒS were born with the dream of producing unique wines made of autochthonous varieties recovering vineyards forgotten in the time and thrilling to offer high quality wines with elegance, distinction and terroir as common denominators. The hope of a dream. The vineyards are placed at more than 600 meters above sea level in a clay-calcareous soil with a plastered subsoil. The grape varieties are: Sumoll, White Grenache, Black Grenache and Cariñena. These grapes grow and are vinified separatedly in different plots. Then, the wine is aged in French oak barrels.
