De aspecto casi tinto, presenta una nariz potente de fresa, cereza y heno. En boca es muy amplio, largo y mineral, marcado por los frutos rojos —especialmente la cereza Burlat—, junto con las notas de piedra propias del Bourboulenc y el pomelo. Se muestra redondo y envolvente, pero sin duda tiene estructura para evolucionar durante años en botella.
