Esmeralda García was born in Santiuste de San Juan Bautista. The pine forests of Vayuste enjoyed their first childhood games when she went down to the river on summer evenings, while Vallejo watched as she learned to ride a bicycle and Carrascal witnessed how vividly his grandfather Boni transmitted her the uniqueness of the family plot of Las Miñañas.
After finishing her studies and working in different wineries, Esmeralda returned to her hometown to make wines as free and transparent as her running around her fields in her childhood. Now she is part of the eclectic landscape of her birth, humbly and responsibly because she is aware her work will imply a brief period of time within the historical heritage of the bicentenary vines of Santiuste.
