El sequé | Pinoso, Alicante
"Alicante is historically a land of wines. The many references and historical traces left both by the Phoenicians and the Romans along Spain's eastern seaboard illustrate the clear winegrowing tradition of this land. We acquired the property in 1999, enthusiastic about creating and producing wines with historical content and attracted by Mediterranean climate and viticulture. Monastrell is our main variety. We produce ripe, voluptuous wines, seasoned by a tough climate, with the fresh volatility of balsamic touches generated by a typical Mediterranean climate. " Juan Carlos López de Lacalle
